right way, I won’t, but I could.” Then it laughed and stared straight at Wright not
making a sound. The puppet disappeared into the shadows and when Wright tried to
follow it he hit the back wall. He then went back to the door and started to open it again
then he heard the voice again, “No, no, no that will not do it doesn’t listen very well
now does it what to do what to do.” Wright looked around and there was nothing there
then he heard the voice say “You’ll never find me, I’m everywhere but nowhere, I’m
here but not.” Then he heard the puppet laugh again, he then heard the door knob turn.
Wright quickly went to the wall where the door would hide him hoping that whoever
opened up the door wouldn’t slam it open. The door opened, it was the faceless man, he
stuck his head in the pantry and looked around for a little then closed the door. Wright
then heard the voice say “ Look all you want, with no eye you can’t find him, he might
be here, he might be there, but you’ll never see him.” The faceless man then slammed
the door shut with Wright sighing in relief knowing that he was safe for a little longer.
Wright looked up and saw the puppets face, it was staring at him like it was waiting for
him to do something. Wright then looked around at the ceiling hoping to find a way out
that was easier than facing the two things outside that were waiting for him. He found
an attic door, the only problem was that he couldn’t reach it and it was in the middle of
the ceiling. Wright tried to jump and reach the rope that was hanging but it was too
short then he thought about climbing the shelves to reach it. He climbed the shelves that
were closest to the rope then jumped off the shelve and got the rope. When he landed
he made a loud thump, Wright quickly went up the ladder that came down then closed
the hatch. It was dark in the attic but it was better than dealing with those two things
that were down there. Wright found a candle about four feet away from him so he took
out his lighter and lit it. Suddenly the candle flame turned red, then blue, then green,
then orange followed by smoke starting to appear, as it rose there were two red eyes
that rose with the smoke. Suddenly a face appeared, it was a handsome man maybe in
his late twenties to early thirties. The smoke man stood three feet above Wright and
stared at him coldly then, Wright started to hear shrieking from the smoke with faces
beginning to appear, they would come up and scream then would disappear, screaming
as they vanished.
The smoke man then spoke to Wright, saying that his name is Chamos, the puppeteer
demon, then the puppet that was in the pantry with him appeared. This time the
puppet was naked, it looked like it was overweight with two small horns coming out of
its head; while at first it was silent as Wright observed it, the puppet began to smirk
followed my an eerie cackle. There were five strings coming out of the puppet that lead
to the smoke then disappeared. It then said that its name was Cimeries, followed by
“Time for the void to come, time for you to be a face and nothing more, time to see the
end, time to die.” Suddenly some of the smoke went to the side of Cimeries, Wright saw
nothing but darkness and he did not like it at all, he really didn’t want to be an addition
to Cimeries’s collection of faces. Cimeries Stared at Wright as Cimeries started to walk
closer to him. Wright started to step backwards looking for a way out but couldn’t find
one. The smoke that was Cimeries’s body started to grow larger and surround Wright,
as he started to back away Cimeries jumped onto Wrights chest holding with a tight
grip as Wright was trying to get him off. Cimeries began laughing and clenching
tighter to Wright, almost squeezing the life out of him. The smoke started to surround
Wright more, soon the smoke was all Wright could see, all he thought was that this was
not how he wanted to die. Wright continued to struggle but it couldn’t get loose he then
remembered that he had a lighter in his pocket so he began to reach for it. Wright could
only touch it with the tips of his fingers so he lifted up his leg a little to see if that would
help him reach it. Wright finally got the lighter but when he tried to light it, it wouldn’t
light. Wright kept trying it but it just wouldn’t light, he thought maybe it was out of
lighter fluid but it couldn’t be, he filled it up before he left his house.
Wright threw the lighter down then decided to try and get him off but pushing his head
away from him. The smoke started to close in on Wright, Cimeries was holding on
tighter but Wright wasn’t going to give up, he couldn’t, he had to stop Tony. Wright
then fell down on top of Cimeries causing him to let go and break. Wright got up then
ran through the smoke trying to get out. Wright could feel teeth trying to grab hold of
him but he did all he could not to slow down, he really didn’t want to get stuck in the
smoke. As he was running he bumped into something then fell down, when he looked
up he saw a man with his mouth wide open with sharp teeth all over and long hair that
reached to his shoulders. The man started to slowly walk towards Wright as Wright
was crawling backwards trying to get away from him. Wright then stood up and turned
around to run away from the man but there was another man behind him, when Wright
looked around, the man was everywhere. After Wright saw the man surrounding him,
Cimeries then pulled out a curved knife, raising it to eye level while staring straight at
Wright. Wright then felt a sharp stab in his back, when he looked over his shoulders the
Cimeries behind him had stabbed him. Wright then started to feel more stabs all over his
body, only to realize they were stabbing him repeatedly.
Blood was pouring from Wright but for some reason he wasn’t dying, there was more
than enough blood that Wright would have died from loss of blood. Wright closed his
eyes hoping for death because the pain was too much to bear, then he felt a knife cut his
throat but he was still alive, it seemed as if nothing was going to kill him. From stabbing
they all started to cut him; they cut the tendons in legs causing him to he fall to the
ground, but he was still alive. Out of nowhere a small hand the size of a child’s grabbed
Wight’s hand and pulled him away from the Cimeries and knives. Wright looked down
at his hand and saw it was a smoky hand, maybe it was one of the souls that Cimeries
had taken and it didn’t want him to take another one. Wright saw that boy that was
holding his hand, he was gliding on the ground like he had no feet and couldn’t walk.
The boy then turned his head to where Wright could see his face, it was the face of his
son. Wright let go of the boys hand and stood there, amazed to his son again. The boy
ushered Wright to hurry then from behind the boy Wright could see Cimeries face
looking at him, waiting for him. Wright then heard someone whisper in his ear “Don’t
you want to be with your son, I know he wants to be with you.” Wright turned around
and saw Cimeries standing a foot away from him then Cimeries Stabbed Wright in the
stomach, causing him to fall to the ground. Wright closed his eyes, when he opened
them the smoke and Cimeries were gone, he was still in the attic, for the most par
t he
was in one piece.
Wright got up from the floor and looked around to find a door so he could get out of
the attic, he found one at the far end, as he started to walk towards the door he could
hear squeaking from the floorboards. When Wright approached the door it slowly
opened by itself, when Wright looked through the door it was pitch black like the void.
He was hesitant to go through but he would rather take his chances through the door
than with the two things underneath him. When he stepped through the doorway
lightning suddenly flashed, revealing stairs leading downward at the end of the long
hallway. Wright could hear the crackle of thunder and see the orange flashes of lighting
through the windows, that were for some reason in the attic. As Wright was walking
towards the stairs the air seemed to get thicker and it became harder for him to breath.
Wright fell to the ground, when he was about four feet away from the stairs so he
crawled the rest of the way thus fell down the stairs but now the air wasn’t as thick so
Wright was able to breathe normally now. When Wright finally stood up, there were
dead bodies everywhere but it looked as if all the blood had been drained out of them.
Wright looked at the bodies, some of them had the pentagram with thirteen in the
middle and others were just there dead. The ones with the pentagram looked as if they
were branded on their forehead by a cattle prod. Wright heard a door knob turn so he
went to hide between some of the bodies so he wouldn’t be seen. Wright took a peek at
who came in, it was the pigman; he picked up four of the bodies, slug them over his
shoulder, and walked out and shut the door. Wright slowly walked over to the door,
just in case he would have to hide again but no one came in by the time he reached the
door. Wright put his right ear to the door to listen to anyone that might be out there but
after ten minutes of hearing nothing he assumed it was safe to leave the room. He
opened the door enough to peer through a crack, when he saw no one outside he
opened it wider and slowly left the room. Wright looked left and could see the door that
lead to the hallway where the kitchen was so he turned to the right and started to head
down the hallway until he saw a door that he wasn’t familiar with. When Wright
stepped into the room there were thirteen portraits, under each of them were names
and on the top of the frames was the pentagram with thirteen in the middle. Above the
portraits was a piece of a board that said “Under the banner of fallen grace thirteen ride
to lead the way to a nation of the fallen.” All the people in the pictures looked like they
could be generals, around their necks they wore a medallion that was the pentagram
and thirteen in the middle but each thirteen looked different from the others.
When Wright looked to the left there was a giant pentagram hanging on the wall and
above it was a picture of a man that looked like he might be an angel but if he were an
angel why would he be here. Wright looked above the picture to see the name Lucifer.
In the bible Lucifer was the most beautiful angel that God created but when Lucifer
decided that he wanted to be God, God cast him out of heaven to live in hell for all
eternity. Lucifer was one of the seven generals of God’s army, he lead more than fifty
thousand angels. When Lucifer fell from the grace of God his followers were all driven
to hell by the forces that Lucifer himself commanded. Wright looked around the room
and saw that it was all in devotion to Lucifer and his thirteen generals, he didn’t feel
right about being in the room ether, like if he stayed there any longer something bad
was going to happen. Wright left the room and went to the main hall as fast as he could;
he wanted to get away from that room. He then found himself at the stairs, as he was
heading up the number 313 popped into his head and he knew that he needed to go to
that room. When Wright got to the door that lead to the third floor a face appeared, its
eyes were closed and it looked just like a wooden man’s face. Wright tried to open the
door but it wouldn’t budge, then it spoke “To enter where no man may you must enter
where no demon may.” Wright thought about it for a while but he knew that this was
the only way to the third floor, then he thought maybe there is a fire exit but then why
wouldn’t demons be able to use it.
Wright quickly went down the stairs, he stopped suddenly when he thought he heard
someone coming up. He waited a little while but when he was sure no one was coming
up he started to head down again, he got to the door on the first floor and slowly
opened it up. When he looked out into the main hall the room was packed with what he
could only presume were demons, some had wings full of feathers and some had
skeleton wings that were only bones. There was an enormous demon in the middle of
the room, it looked like everyone was trying to get to him just to be around him. Wright
started to look for a way out that would make it to where he wouldn’t be seen, he could
only imagine what they would do to him if they caught him. Wright started to walk up
the stairs, he hoped that he could make it through to the second floor and maybe out
the fire escape, but all he could do now was hope and pray he would go unnoticed.
When Wright got up to the second floor door it was already open, he carefully walked
to the door just in case there might be someone there. He looked through the door, the
hall was empty, there wasn’t even any sounds being made it was as if all the sound in
the world had gone mute. Wright slowly walked through the hall hoping not to
encounter anything, he wanted to give himself enough time to react in case something
did come out. When Wright finally made it to the fire escape he heard a shriek come
from down the hall, when he looked it was a bloody woman that started to run at him.
Wright clumped through the window, when he tried to shut the window it wouldn’t
shut. Now the bloody woman was almost to the window, Wright quickly went up the
fire escape, he then looked down at the window in just enough time to see the bloody
woman go through the wall and jump off the fire escape. Wright got up to the third
floor, as he looked into the window he saw the bloody woman looking out, he quickly
ducked to avoid being seen by the woman. Wright looked up at the window to see if
she was gone but he saw her cold dead eyes staring at him. Wright shuffled to the other
side of the fire escape, when he looked back at the window she was gone, he waited
there a little while until his heart beat went back to normal then he went back to the
window. Wright looked through the window again, this time there was no one there so
he quietly opened up the window and crawled in.
Chapter 10
Hell Reborn
When Wright got into the hallway he had a very eerie feeling that he could not shake, it
was as if the bloody woman was hovering over him but when he looked up she wasn’t
there. Wright slowly walked to room 313 and when he got there, there was writing on
the door that said “Keep your soul safe.” Wright opened the door to see a chair in the
middle of the room with a woman with long hair facing the back of the room. Wright
slowly
walked around to see the woman’s face, when got around her it was the bloody
woman but this time her eyes were gone and blood was slowly pouring out from her
eye sockets. She then turned to where Wright was and said in a low harsh cackling
voice “Keep your soul safe or I’ll take it, I’ll take it and let them have what’s left.” She
then turned her head back facing the wall again then on the wall the phrase “Keep your
soul safe” appeared all over the walls. When Wright looked back at the woman she was
gone, he looked to his left and there she was, an inch away from him. Her face then
grew dark as her mouth opened to show several teeth and a bloody face, now she had
raven black eyes as she passed through Wright and disappeared. Wright started to feel
cold, as if all the heat from his body had left; his chest started to hurt and his eyes
started to water, when he wiped it away it was blood that was coming from his eyes.
Wright fell to the floor and was unable to move, he then started to convulse on the floor.
When Wright stopped convulsing the bloody woman was standing over him and said,
“I told you to keep your soul safe, now it’s mine and you’ll never get it back.” All
Wright could do was look up at her and wonder how all this happened, today was
supposed to be his day off. The warmth finally started to return to Wright’s body but he
didn’t want to move because the woman was still standing over him. She bent down
and kissed him on his cheek only to then disappear. Wright looked around to realize he
was alone in the room again, he wiped his check where the woman had kissed him and
blood was smeared on his hand from where he wiped. Wright stood back up but
stumbled a little, he regained his balance and looked around the room, on the wall in
blood was written, “The tainted soul of one tastes better than the pure soul of a
thousand.” Wright looked out the window that was in the room and saw a field full of
burning inverted crosses, on all the crosses he could see people hanging inverted on
them, some were screaming while some were silent. Wright then saw something
standing in front of all the crosses with two giant horns coming from its head, it then
