Murder the Game Page 7
torches and the arch, there was a wall that was blocking his way so the only thing he
could do was turn around and back track.
Wright got to where the crossroad was and went straight this time, hoping he didn’t
have to back track further. While he was walking he heard one howl from one monster
then the howl from another. Afraid that they may have found where he was Wright
started to run in hopes of reaching the real exit this time. Wright saw a light in the
distance and tried to run faster so he could reach it, he hoped that was the exit he didn’t
want to be in the maze anymore he was tired of running for his life. Wright had to turn
a few times but he finally saw where the light was coming from, it looked like a room.
He heard a roar coming from behind him. He stopped, turned around and saw the big
monster staring at him, then it started to walk towards him. Wright turned back around
and ran like his life depended on it, mainly because it did. Wright didn’t turn around to
see if it was gaining on him, he really didn’t want to know but as he ran he began to
notice the light started to get closer. He heard a howl then the foot stomps stopped, he
still didn’t stop just in case it was still behind him. When he got to the light it opened
into a hallway that had two doors. Wright finally stopped running and looked behind
him, there was nothing there, he could finally relax a little because he was finally out of
the maze.
Wright walked down to the two doors, one had a red A and the other had a red B. He
opened up the one with the red A and saw an empty room with nothing there. He
closed the door then walked to the other door and opened it, he saw a conglomerate of
machines that looked a lot the machine that was in the room before the maze.
Chapter 06
Torturing the Damned
Wright thought the maze was bad but seeing more machines that could electrocute and
others that he didn’t know what they could do frightened him more. If he thought the
first room was bloody this one takes the cake, there was blood on everything, it didn’t
look like there was one place that didn’t have blood. It felt like he was in a medieval
modern torture dungeon, making him not even want to think about what took place in
there. There were some torture devices that didn’t require the use of electricity but they
looked painful none the less. The room was filled corner to corner with torture
machines except in the left bottom corner, Wright walked over to the corner and saw a
pit, probably used to throw the dead bodies. Wright only thought that because he
smelled rotting flesh. Wright looked at each machine and saw that it had the name of
murderers for every machine and there were about thirty machines in the room. He
looked at one machines, it looked medieval the name one it “Vladimir the Impaler”.
Vladimir was a Romanian king that killed his own family by poisoning them because he
thought they were conspiring against him. Vladimir would also poison his victims and
then impale them on a pike to warn anyone who would defy him. The machine looked
like it would shoot a sick or pike straight up through the body to impale the person
unlucky enough to be strapped to the machine. It also looked modified so that it would
slowly impale the person if the person who was doing the impaling wanted to.
There was one machine that didn’t have a killer's name, on the placard it said rat
catcher. There was a bucket turned upside down on the table and a few rats caged in it
and on the ground was a bucket with charcoal. On the table there was only one place
that had blood and it was where the body’s stomach would be. Maybe they would strap
a person down to the table and put a rat under the bucket then put the bucket on the
person’s stomach and heat the charcoal to have the rat dig through the stomach to get
away from the heat. Wright tried not to imagine that but he did and he didn’t like the
way his mind made it look. He pictures the person screaming in agonizing pain as the
rat would claw and bite its way through the stomach to get away from the charcoal.
Wright then saw Nurse Peters strapping him down to this table and putting the bucket
and rat on him. He quickly looked at the door and saw no one coming in, he walked
away from the table to the machine that looked like that one he was strapped to before
the maze.
This machine had the name of Tessla, the man who found many uses for electricity. The
machine was a little different from the one he was strapped into. This machine had a
full head piece that would cover a full grown man’s head. It also looked like it could
generate its own electricity. One thing Tessla was known for was he showed that
electricity could be used as a way to execute people on death row. The head piece
looked like the one that is used on the electric chair. The chair would send a large
amount of electricity to the person's head and for lack of a better word it would fry the
brain causing the person to die. They say the person doesn’t suffer but after having to
deal with something like it, Wright had to abject to that thought because it hurt and it
hurt a lot.
Wright went to another machine and the name on it was John Henson, a man known
for his brutality when killing his victims. John Henson would slowly cut his victims
until they died from blood loss or shock. The machine had a lever and it was attached to
two swinging scythes that looked like they slowly came down and slowly cutting the
person on the table. Wright looked up at the blades and saw that like the table they
were stained with blood. Wright thought that dying that way would be a horrible way
to die, especially if you felt every cut that it made. Wright looked under the table and
saw that the table could move so it wouldn’t be cutting in one spot but all over the
body. Wright figured that the blades would only come down to a certain height then it
would stay at that height until the person controlling it saw the person on the table.
Wright cringed at the thought of watching that blade come down and slowly cut him
open.
Wright stepped away from that machine and saw one that looked weird, it was where
the person would be dunked in water then electrocuted. It looked like the person's head
would be submerged in water then someone would but two rods in the water and turn
on the machine to electrocute the person that was submerged. Wright tried to find a
name on the machine but there wasn’t any. The machine was a board and a tilting block
and at one end was a large bucket full of water and on the side were the two rods. There
wasn’t any blood on the machine mainly because there was no way to cut or mam a
person on it. Wright saw Nurse Peters smiling while she used this, he only wondered
who her victims were.
Wright continued to walk around the room until he came upon a board with known
and suspected killers. One was Thomas Allan who was suspected of killing his family
during a Thanksgiving dinner at his aunt’s ranch. Mr. Allan was arrested on December
2 nd 1959 on suspicion, but no one could prove it was him, so in February of 1960 they let
him go and have been watching him ever since. Mr. Allan was also a suspect in another
murder of a little boy w
ho was kidnapped then stabbed to death and left in a field.
Another person on the board was a man named Tim Walker who killed thirty-seven
people at an old folk’s home where his friend’s grandmother was. Mr. Walker was
charged in January 23 rd 1960 of the murder and he is still waiting to go to trial for it. Mr.
Walker won’t even talk to his attorney about it and clams he is innocent. Wright saw
Tony Dalengo the mobster who was guilty of at least two murders and suspected of
thirty more but never proven. That’s when Wright saw his picture and a news article of
how he shot Tony in the back three times.
There were news articles of other killers like Jack the Ripper, Tony Vans, Jack Johnson
who all killed prostitutes. Tony Vans was an American that hated prostitutes because
his mother was one and never spent time with him. He started killing small animals at
the age of nine then moved to prostitutes at the age of twenty-three. Mr. Vans was
found guilty in the summer of 1955 and sentenced to death in 1957 but killed himself in
prison a month after being convicted. Jack Johnson killed prostitutes just because he
loved hearing women scream for their lives. Mr. Johnson was charged in April of 1949
and sentenced to death in May of 1954. When he was on the electric chair he said all he
wants is to hear one more scream. Everyone clapped when they pulled the switch and
started to cheer. Jack the Ripper was never caught and no one knows who he really was
they only know that he killed prostitutes maybe for fun. Wright looked at the board and
it seemed like there were hundreds of killers on the board and that’s when he saw his
bad. Justin Wright was charged with murder and attempted murder. Mr. Wright killed
his wife and tried to kill his son to but when he heard the police coming he ran out the
back door to try and escape. That was when Detective Wright wanted to become a
police officer.
Wright looked at another board that was by the killer’s board and saw victims from the
killers. Wright then saw his mother on the board, Lucy Wright, who loved her husband,
even though he was a drunk, and loved her son. Some of the victims were known
rapists, wife beaters and suspected killers. He also saw suspected victims like Lara
Martinez who Wright was assigned to, they had no leads to where she might be so
everyone thought that she went back to Mexico. He also saw Jenna Walters who was a
prostitute that worked mainly at night in the slums but no one was investigating her
disappearance. No one cared if a prostitute went missing. There was Jenny Brown,
April Hernandez, Olive Rizal, and Jack Peters. Wright wondered if Jack Peters was
Nurse Peter’s husband or maybe siblings. Then he wondered how someone could do
that to your own family and what machine did she use on him. There were mainly
women on the board but there were also a few men on there, some on there were local
people that had gone missing a few years back.
Wright saw that there were about thirty people that were local, he noticed all of them
had gone missing after the time that the asylum was built. The asylum was meant to
help people but it looked to Wright that Nurse Peters used it as a front to torture and
kill people. He then wondered if Doctor White knew about this and how the maze was
built without anyone knowing. Wright then started to wonder if the benefactor wanted
all this and if he knew or maybe there was more than one. Maybe the asylum was built
on a cave and the maze was easy to build inside the cave. There had to be more to this
asylum than what they say, there’s no way no one knew about all this. Wright also
wondered who all was involved in all these murders and why he was the only one to
find this room.
Wright hated to see his mother on the board and hated to see everyone on the board, at
least he knew where all the locals went. Wright knew he had to stop this, he had to find
Nurse Peters and arrest her to stop her experiments. Wright wondered how long Nurse
Peters had been killing people and how many has she killed. It looked like Nurse Peters
worshiped all this killers and wanted to be just like them but how did she get all this
money to do it. Wright continued to look around the room and at all the machines, he
thought it had cost a fortune for all these machines there’s no way she could afford to
pay for all of these machines. Wright also wondered where she got all these machines
from, it’s not like you could go to the nearest supply store and get them. He looked in
the top left corner of the room and saw a generator that looked like it powered
whatever machine that she wanted to use.
The generator looked like it has been there for years, maybe two at the least. The
generator took up about ten feet of the corner. Wright started to wonder how she got
these machines down here without anyone knowing about it someone had to know
Doctor White had to be a part of it or at least know something of it. Doctor White didn’t
seem like the type of person that would condone actions like this but in Wright’s line of
work you could never tell. Wight unplugged the machine that was hooked up to the
generator and tried to move the generator. The generator was very heavy, maybe about
one hundred pounds. Wright finally made it budge but he would have to make it move
further if he expected to move it away from the machines. Wright stopped to think
about what he was going to do to the generator so it won’t be used again for torture
He looked around maybe he could tip a machine on it and break it but who knew how
heavy the machines were. The only other option was to drop it down the pit but then
what about the bodies if that’s where they were. After a while Wright decided that the
best place to put it in the pit, he was sure that the dead wouldn’t mind having a
hundred pound generator dropped on their corpse. It might have taken him about five
minutes to pull it to the edge of the pit, then he stopped to rest for a little bit then
continued to push it the rest of the way in. When it hit the bottom it made a splashing
sound so Wright thought that the bodies have already decomposed.
Wright looked around the room and knew he had to do something about all the
machines, that way no one would ever have to be subject to this kind of torture in this
place again. Wright then looked at the pit and thought if he could push everything into
the pit there might be no way to the machines out of there. His plan depended on how
deep the pit was, he was hoping it was deep enough to hide it from whoever came in
here next to use them. Wright pushed a few machines down the pit and other machines
were too heavy to move. He kept moving the machines to the pit and thinking of a way
to get the heavy machines in the pit. When Wright got done pushing the tables and the
lighter machines down the pit he looked around the room to see if there was a way to at
least destroy the machines but he found no crowbar, no bat, nothing that could help
him destroy them. Wright then tested the machines to see if he rocked them if they
would move so he could rock them to the pit.
Wright found some of the machines were bolted to the ground but others he could rock,
so the ones he could he rocked them over to the pit then let them fall in. Wright saw no
/>
way to destroy the machines that were bolted so he tried to open them up to pull some
of the wires. Wright looked at his watch to see the time, it was now 10:20pm so he knew
he had to hurry before Tony killed him so he could stop the mass murder like he was
planning to do. Wright didn’t know how a ghost could kill him but he knew Tony could
find a way. Wright found one machine with wires exposed so he pulled on them until
they ripped out of the machine and then threw the wires in the pit, hoping that no one
would be able to get them. Then only machine left was the one that reminded him of
the machine he was hooked up to, he wanted it destroyed and fast just in case Nurse
Peters showed up. Wright decided to take the head piece apart and sick it into what
looked like vents and turn it on.
Wright tore the wires out of the head piece and stuck it in the vents, then looked at the
machine to see how to turn it on. Wright pulled a switch but nothing was happening, he
then saw an on button, when he pushed it nothing happened. He then put the switch
up and pressed the button again then pulled the switch. Wright heard some crackling in
the machine then smelled smoke, he stepped back just in case it caught fire or exploded.
Suddenly he heard a loud pop and the machine turned off, smoke poured out from the
machine. Wright then took both the boards that were on the wall and threw them into
the pit so no one would have the board of killers and the trophy board. Wright looked
at the room, it was finally clear of most of the torture machines, the ones that were still
in the room no longer worked.
Wright was happy with what he did, now no one would get tortured down here, at
least not for a while. Wright wished he could have done more and done it before all
these people lost their lives to such a demented woman. Wight looked down the pit and
still couldn’t see anything down there, he looked around the room for a torch but
couldn’t find any. Wright remembered that he saw a few outside so he walked to the
door and tried to open it but it was locked from the outside. Wright jiggled the handle
but it wouldn’t open, so he gave up trying to find a torch and started to walk around
the room to find a way out. He then saw a window on the far left wall, he walked over
